Quantum Electronics Research Group
The Quantum Electronics Research Group in the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering comprises three academics and several postgraduate research students as well as an average of three fourth-year students per year. The Quantum Electronics Research Group has three main research themes:
- The development of robust Quantum Information Technologies with a particular focus on Quantum Computer Technologies
- Non-linear signal processing techniques
- The development of novel laser systems
The research program is underpinned by funding from the ARC Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computer Technology and the ARC Discovery Projects scheme. The group maintains active collaborative research links within UNSW as well as the University of Queensland , Macquarie University , the University of Erlangen-Nurnberg, Griffith University, the Australian National University, and the University of Hannover.
