Description: A course on the development and management of distributed applications, such as web and database applications, with an emphasis on performance and reliability needs. Topics covered will include: introduction to distributed applications, clients and servers, distribution paradigms, designing programming and configuring distributed applications with databases, XML, distributed objects, agents, ubiquitous computing.
